Incredible "news"... (as NOT credible) but... AMAZING FACTS! MCCANNS HID PIECES OF FILES FOR YEARS!

Let's start with Pinky...

The Pink News always come right on time to counteract important FACTS that could well turn the nations against some "responsible, innocent parents".

Regardless of that PR stunt garbage of dead abductors stories, we are sending our respects to this grieving Family in Portugal and, gladly we have a myriad of fresh news and FACTS to look at these days:

  • The RE OPENING OF THE CASE

  • Jane TANNER's "abductor" that has FINALLY, OFFICIALLY exploded in thin air, never to return (and that is ONE punch in the face of ALL these people who were calling us "fantasists" (EH MISS TANNER??!! AH AH!) or "conspiracy theorists", "trolls", "paedos", "liars", "armchair detectives", etc., etc.
  • And, OH, AND, I am SO excited!!! Listen to this one: the McCanns have, reportedly, HIDDEN vital pieces of the files found by their own Private Detectives, for 5 years! Yes! Apparently, according to this paper, they would even have intimidated them, forcing them to "keep QUIET" about this!! Why? Well, to me it is simple. Martin Smith saw a man carrying a child like Madeleine at ten to ten on the 3rd May 2007. As he saw Gerry McCann stepping out of the plane in England, on the news on that day of September 07, he "tilted" and... RECOGNISED him, quite positively, as THIS man. And this is what the McCanns have tried to shush: THAT E-FIT that looks like Gerry McCann! E-FIT that Gerald did NOT wanted you to SEE for FIVE YEARS!:

(well, all is MY opinion and I find this pretty logical, I will keep you posted regarding "further developments"!! OR feel free as always to post more info, opinion you voice or find, and links. And as always, don't forget to sign or Share our Petition to spread the idea of Normal Justice!)

Madeleine clues hidden for 5 years

The new prime suspect was first singled out by detectives in 2008. Their findings were suppressed. Insight reports

THE critical new evidence at the centre of Scotland Yard’s search for Madeleine McCann was kept secret for five years after it was presented to her parents by ex-MI5 investigators.

The evidence was in fact taken from an intelligence report produced for Gerry and Kate McCann by a firm of former spies in 2008.

It contained crucial E-Fits of a man seen carrying a child on the night of Madeleine’s disappearance, which have only this month become public after he was identified as the prime suspect by Scotland Yard.

A team of hand-picked former MI5 agents had been hired by the McCanns to chase a much-needed breakthrough in the search for their missing daughter Madeleine.

10 months after the three-year-old had disappeared from the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz, and the McCanns were beginning to despair over the handling of the local police investigation. They were relying on the new team to bring fresh hope.

But within months the relationship had soured. A report produced by the investigators was deemed “hypercritical” of the McCanns and their friends, and the authors were threatened with legal action if it was made public. Its contents remained secret until Scotland Yard detectives conducting a fresh review of the case contacted the authors and asked for a copy.

They found that it contained new evidence about a key suspect seen carrying a child away from the McCanns’ holiday apartment on the night Madeleine disappeared.

This sighting is now considered the main lead in the investigation and E-Fits of the suspect, taken from the report, were the centrepiece of a Crimewatch appeal that attracted more than 2,400 calls from the public this month.

One of the investigators whose work was sidelined said last week he was “utterly stunned” when he watched the programme and saw the evidence his team had passed to the McCanns five years ago presented as a breakthrough.

The team of investigators from the security firm Oakley International were hired by the McCanns’ Find Madeleine fund, which bankrolled private investigations into the girl’s disappearance. They were led by Henri Exton, MI5’s former undercover operations chief.

Their report, seen by The Sunday Times, focused on a sighting by an Irish family of a man carrying a child at about 10pm on May 3, 2007, when Madeleine went missing.

An earlier sighting by one of the McCanns’ friends was dismissed as less credible after “serious inconsistencies” were found in her evidence. The report also raised questions about “anomalies” in the statements given by the McCanns and their friends.

Exton confirmed last week that the fund had silenced his investigators for years after they handed over their controversial findings. He said: “A letter came from their lawyers binding us to the confidentiality of the report.”

He claimed the legal threat had prevented him from handing over the report to Scotland Yard’s fresh investigation, until detectives had obtained written permission from the fund.

A source close to the fund said the report was considered “hypercritical of the people involved” and “would have been completely distracting” if it became public.

Kate and Gerry McCann: now officially not suspects, say the Portuguese authoritiesKate and Gerry McCann: now officially not suspects, say the Portuguese authorities (Adrian Sheratt) Oakley’s six-month investigation included placing undercover agents inside the Ocean Club where the family stayed, lie detector tests, covert surveillance and a forensic re-examination of all existing evidence.

It was immediately clear that two sightings of vital importance had been reported to the police. Two men were seen carrying children near the apartments between 9pm, when Madeleine was last seen by Gerry, and 10pm, when Kate discovered her missing.

The first man was seen at 9.15pm by Jane Tanner, a friend of the McCanns, who had been dining with them at the tapas bar in the resort. She saw a man carrying a girl just yards from the apartment as she went to check on her children.

The second sighting was by Martin Smith and his family from Ireland, who saw a man carrying a child near the apartment just before 10pm.

The earlier Tanner sighting had always been treated as the most significant, but the Oakley team controversially poured cold water on her account.

Instead, they focused on the Smith sighting, travelling to Ireland to interview the family and produce E-Fits of the man they saw. Their report said the Smiths were “helpful and sincere” and concluded: “The Smith sighting is credible evidence of a sighting of Maddie and more credible than Jane Tanner’s sighting”. The evidence had been “neglected for too long” and an “overemphasis placed on Tanner”.

The new focus shifted the believed timeline of the abduction back by 45 minutes.

The pictures of a man who may have taken Madeleine were drawn up in 2008The pictures of a man who may have taken Madeleine were drawn up in 2008 (Adrian Sheratt) The report, delivered to the McCanns in November 2008, recommended that the revised timeline should be the basis for future investigations and that the Smith E-Fits should be released without delay.

The potential abductor seen by the Smiths is now the prime suspect in Scotland Yard’s investigation, after detectives established that the man seen earlier by Tanner was almost certainly a father carrying his child home from a nearby night creche. The Smith E-Fits were the centrepiece of the Crimewatch appeal.

One of the Oakley investigators said last week: “I was absolutely stunned when I watched the programme . . . It most certainly wasn’t a new timeline and it certainly isn’t a new revelation. It is absolute nonsense to suggest either of those things . . . And those E-Fits you saw on Crimewatch are ours,” he said.

The detailed images of the face of the man seen by the Smith family were never released by the McCanns. But an artist’s impression of the man seen earlier by Tanner was widely promoted, even though the face had to be left blank because she had only seen him fleetingly and from a distance.

Various others images of lone men spotted hanging around the resort at other times were also released.

Nor were the Smith E-Fits included in Kate McCann’s 2011 book, Madeleine, which contained a whole section on eight “key sightings” and identified those of the Smiths and Tanner as most “crucial”. Descriptions of all seven other sightings were accompanied by an E-Fit or artist’s impression. The Smiths’ were the only exception. So why was such a “crucial” piece of evidence kept under lock and key?

The relationship between the fund and Oakley was already souring by the time the report was submitted — and its findings could only have made matters worse.

As well as questioning parts of the McCanns’ evidence, it contained sensitive information about Madeleine’s sleeping patterns and raised the highly sensitive possibility that she could have died in an accident after leaving the apartment herself from one of two unsecured doors.

There was also an uncomfortable complication with Smith’s account. He had originally told the police that he had “recognised something” about the way Gerry McCann carried one of his children which reminded him of the man he had seen in Praia da Luz.

Smith has since stressed that he does not believe the man he saw was Gerry, and Scotland Yard do not consider this a possibility. Last week the McCanns were told officially by the Portuguese authorities that they are not suspects.

The McCanns were also understandably wary of Oakley after allegations that the chairman, Kevin Halligen, failed to pass on money paid by the fund to Exton’s team. Halligen denies this. He was later convicted of fraud in an unrelated case in the US.

The McCann fund source said the Oakley report was passed on to new private investigators after the contract ended, but that the firm’s work was considered “contaminated” by the financial dispute.

He said the fund wanted to continue to pursue information about the man seen by Tanner, and it would have been too expensive to investigate both sightings in full — so the Smith E-Fits were not publicised. It was also considered necessary to threaten legal action against the authors.

“[The report] was hypercritical of the people involved . . . It just wouldn’t be conducive to the investigation to have that report publicly declared because . . . the newspapers would have been all over it. And it would have been completely distracting,” said the source.

A statement released by the Find Madeleine fund said that “all information privately gathered during the search for Madeleine has been fully acted upon where necessary” and had been passed to Scotland Yard.

It continued: “Throughout the investigation, the Find Madeleine fund’s sole priority has been, and remains, to find Madeleine and bring her home as swiftly as possible.”

"Why were Maddie suspect E-fits kept SECRET for five years?"

Indeed... WHY?

Here is the OMITTED very IMPORTANT E-FIT:

A forum Member has made this association, in the light of the events:

For once, regarding the reporting of this case by the Daily Mail, I will agree with their title. I disagree, however, about their attempt to provide an "explanation" as to "why" (as we will see further) as I find their personal views really unprofessional - they are a "mainstream media", not a private blog of fresh amateurs. Anyway, here is the full copy of the article:

"Why were Maddie suspect E-fits kept SECRET for five years? Images and evidence of sighting uncovered by private detectives were suppressed

  • Images of man seen carrying child through Praia da Luz on the night of Madeleine's disappearance were unveiled on Crimewatch two weeks ago
  • Based on evidence from Irish holidaymaker Martin Smith and his family
  • Emerged yesterday that E-fits were contained in files from five years ago
  • Produced by private investigators hired by the McCanns

Under wraps: This is one of the E-fits drawn up by the investigators
Under wraps: This is one of the E-fits drawn up by the investigators

"The E-fits of a ‘new’ suspect for Madeleine McCann’s disappearance were drawn up five years ago – and suppressed.
Images of a man seen carrying a child through Praia da Luz at 10pm on the night the then three-year-old vanished were unveiled on BBC1’s Crimewatch two weeks ago.
They are based on evidence from Irish holidaymaker Martin Smith and his family. At the same time, the British police team behind a new investigation revealed they had discounted a 9.15pm sighting of a man with a child by Jane Tanner, a friend holidaying with parents Gerry and Kate McCann and their three children.
It meant there was a new ‘timeline’ of Madeleine’s presumed abduction. Yet it emerged yesterday that the recently released E-fits were in fact contained in files produced five years ago by private investigators hired by the McCanns. Similarly, those private detectives had questioned the Tanner sighting and the timings associated with it.
But the E-fits were kept private, and the questioning of the Tanner sighting and related timeline were kept quiet. One detective said he was ‘utterly stunned’ to see his five-year-old dossier suddenly presented as new on TV.
The investigator told a Sunday newspaper: ‘I was absolutely stunned when I watched the programme... it most certainly wasn’t a new timeline and it certainly isn’t a new revelation. It is absolute nonsense to suggest either of those things... and those E-fits you saw on Crimewatch are ours.’
The McCanns are now fully behind the fresh police drive and release of the E-fits – but ago they were reluctfive years ant to issue them, possibly in part because witness Mr Smith’s account seemed inconsistent and unreliable. " [My note: I disagree, in fact it seems that the REAL reason is enunciated here in the following statement (which the Daily Mail has cleverly separated with a bullet pointed list of other articles, lol:]

So, REAL REASON, in my opinion: "Months after the disappearance and after seeing Gerry McCann on TV, Mr Smith told police that he thought the man he saw carrying a girl around Madeleine’s age at the very time she went missing reminded him of Gerry McCann himself."Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2478087/Why-Madeleine-McCann-suspect-E-fits-kept-secret-5-years.html#ixzz2j3tea2kJ
"
Mr Smith has reportedly since withdrawn that claim – just as Portuguese police have officially told the McCanns they are no longer suspects for their daughter’s disappearance.
The couple have also won libel damages for false suggestions that they were in any way involved.

Numerous witnesses have also given statements making clear that Mr McCann was at his holiday complex at the moment the sighting occurred – which was at the very time when he and his wife started calling for help looking for Maddie.

Madeleine McCann went missing in Praia da Luz in May 2007

But shortly after Mr Smith told police Mr McCann may have been the man he had seen carrying a little girl, a friend of the McCanns said: ‘Look at the facts. This man sees an individual carrying a child on the night Maddie vanished.
‘He waits 13 days to report this to the police, going back to Ireland  in the meantime. At this stage he admits he has no idea who the man is. Almost four months go by before, after seeing him on TV, he feels that it could be Gerry.
‘The truth is that this is part of  the victimisation of Gerry and Kate which has gone on from the very beginning by the Portuguese.’

Portuguese police have officially told Kate and Gerry McCann they are no longer suspects for the disappearance
Portuguese police have officially told Kate and Gerry McCann they are no longer suspects for the disappearance

In 2008, the McCanns used money from their charity fund  [NO! No, NO and NO! UNPROFESSIONAL once again, Daily Mail!!! THE FUND HAS NEVER BEEN A CHARITY! It is a BUSINESS, an UnLtd Company!!!! Do you research! Correctly!] to hire investigators from a firm called Oakley International, led by  former MI5 surveillance officer Henri Exton, to look into the mystery – and they focused on the Smith sighting.
They produced a dossier and called for the E-fits to be published. They also suggested Madeleine could have died after wandering off.
The McCanns, who became embroiled in an unconnected financial dispute with Oakley International at around the time they received the dossier, responded by warning the detectives of legal action if they publicised their report.
A source close to the fund said the report would have been ‘completely distracting’ if it had become public."

A porn star was employed by the BBC to appear in the reconstruction of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance, it has emerged.

Obrigada Portugal!

The Madeleine McCann Case has FINALLY been re-opened!

Link: BBC

Please Take Care of this case and don't jump to conclusions (re "paedo e-fits" and rings...) before you study EVERY DETAIL of the early situation ( May 2007, PdL) ; may I remind everyone that LIES have been detected about the so-called "forced entry" (see this page). Indeed the McCanns phoned their family and friends during the night to tell them it was an abduction and that the children's bedroom window was "SMASHED" (it was NOT) and the shutter "JEMNIED", "DAMAGED" -- it was NOT.

Let us not forget either that there has NEVER been a trial for the McCanns in Portugal despite the FACT that these "responsible parents" have LEFT their THREE Children under the age of 3, ALONE in their holiday flat (and errr.... as a consequence / or whatever, one went "MISSING"....). In the UK like it was the case even yesterday, people who do THAT are ARRESTED and then JAILED , their children go into CARE and they NEVER see them again. I therefore hope that such a normal, standard TRIAL will take place in Lisbon, or Portimao one of these next days. Thank you to Everyone who has signed and shared it. LINK for the Petition (click).

A Truth Seeker.
(I'm afraid that given the intimidating approach and behaviour of the McCanns and their "team" - well, paid staff - I still need to use a nickname so this time I am signing the most appropriate name: Truth Seeker.)

Obrigada.  + Merci and Thank You in ALL Languages!

In the Name Of A Rose!     Justice For Madeleine.

Trial "to" G. AMARAL??? TRIAL FOR THE MCCANNS IS NEEDED! ANSWER!

WHY HAVE THE MCCANNS, THEIR FRIENDS & FAMILY NOT BEEN TRIED? DO YOU KNOW THEY HAVE PAID TWO LAWYERS JUST TO ESCAPE THE NORMAL PROCEDURE IN THE VERY EARLY DAYS in May 2007?:  Yes, A COURT WITH JUDGE AND JURY WHERE THEY SHOULD HAVE WITNESSED THEIR VERSIONS OF THE EVENTS. Money buys everything, does it?

This is important, and for JUSTICE itself. So I support this incentive for a TRIAL TO THE MCCANNS. Under Oath, do your very BEST, in the Name of your Daughter, to answer the questions! WHY DID YOU LIE????!!!!!!! YES you DID LIE, about the so-called "damaged" shutters AND the NOT "broken, shattered WINDOW"

THIS is what you told your worried FAMILY on that night between the 3rd and the 4th May 2007: LIES. LIES which they repeated, as planned, to the MEDIA. We ALL remember, proof has been collected.

Do you know what, McCanns? You should ACTUALLY VOLUNTEER to have a TRIAL, instead of taking People to courts. SHAME ON YOU. SHAME!

For NORMAL JUSTICE, you may too, dear Reader, ask for a TRIAL to get the TRUTH about what happened to this Little Child:

http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/portugal-gabinete-de-sua-excel%C3%AAncia-a-ministra-da-justi%C3%A7a-normal-justice-wanted-a-trial-for-child-madeleine-mccann-s-parents

The McCann case: an orchestration? Daily Star clues us up:

May I ask you, "ANONYMOUS" reporter at the DAILY STAR, how you came to get this information? Thank you by the way, for it is gold.
Since when what is going to happen in a Court is revealed in... advance?? As someone pointed out on the Controversy group on Facebook, you might as well publish the VERDICT now too! But again, in the name of all the people, truth seekers or else, who follow this case, thank you.

Uh uh... The THREE sentences article (wow) says:

"Portuguese Goncalo Amaral, 52, is being sued for £1million in libel damages by Kate and Gerry McCann, both 45.
The civil case in Lisbon will be adjourned on September 13 and will then continue on September 19 and 20.Madeleine vanished just days before her fourth birthday from her family’s holiday apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007."

So what else will happen, Anonymous? Can we know more please, today? This would save our time this September... Will a bunch of the invisible justice squad meet in an obscure room and decide of the full trial in advance too, on that day? This is interesting, very, especially in the light of some LONG association between the McCanns and certain media..... and the LONG and strong protection that the McCanns have always enjoyed, obtaining exclusive appointments with PRIME MINISTERS and even, AH, the Pope. First time in history, also, for parents of a missing child to hire an ex-government P.R.! (Just put money in envelopes and send it to the McCanns, it WILL GET THERE, Mr Clarence Mitchell had clearly said...)
Old photos saved in the holiday camera used for posters (whereas more recent ones of Maddy existed...), long haul planning such as a "concert for the anniversary of Madeleine's disappearance" (dixit the father), TV appeal to abductor script notes KEPT by the mother for years (as she tells us in her book) and now even the PRE-SETTLED adjournment of this first day of oncoming court: predictions in this case seem to be a normal thing to do for "Team McCann" or PRs or media (or perhaps, an "all in one"?).
Isn't it time, if you still fervently believe that this saga is only about two poor parents who were, in their own words, "at most, naive" (despite being doctors...) and rightly claim money from private AND public donations (since millions of pounds Sterling go out to a "review" by New Scotland Yard every year, = Tax Payers funding) to look for their daughter (which they clearly don't and NEVER have done), to finally OPEN YOUR EYES?!

What happened to Madeleine McCann?

Madeleine McCann: Have her parents been ‘cleared’ of any involvement in her disappearance’?

by Felicity Hathaway - August 2013
http://whathappenedtomadeleinemccann.blogspot.pt/2013/08/madeleine-mccann-have-her-parents-been_9354.html?spref=tw

The purpose of this short article, intended mainly to those who are maybe ‘newcomers’ to the details surrounding Madeleine McCann’s reported disappearance, is to answer the question: Have Gerry & Kate McCann  been ‘cleared’ - formally or otherwise - of any involvement in the disappearance, from the Portuguese holiday resort of Praia da Luz, of their daughter?

If, for example, you consult Wikipedia’s article on Madeleine McCann, it states this: “In July 2008, the McCanns were cleared by the Portuguese Attorney-General”. Is this really true?

Background

On Thursday 3 May 2007, Kate McCann reported Madeleine as missing. She was quite clear from the outset that she ‘knew’ Madeleine had been abducted. Thus began the world’s biggest-ever search for a child claimed to be missing. Hundreds of Portuguese police searched for Madeleine and then formally investigated her disappearance. There were thousands of reported ‘sightings’ of Madeleine in dozens of countries; all false.

Things changed in August 2007. Some of Britain’s top police officers, based at the National Police Intelligence Agency, including Britain’s top criminal profiler, Lee Rainbow, advised Portuguese detectives that they should investigate the possible involvement of the McCanns in Madeleine’s disappearance. The Portuguese police called in internationally-renowned British police dog handler Martin Grime to examine locations in Praia da Luz, including the McCanns’ apartment and their hired car.

His two dogs - a cadaver dog and a bloodhound - found the smell of a human corpse in nine separate locations connected to the McCanns, but nowhere else. These included three locations in their apartment, two in their hired car, and two on Kate McCann’s clothes. Blood and body fluids which could have been from Madeleine McCann were found in some of the same locations (see below).

On 7 September 2007, the investigation co-ordinator, Dr Gonçalo Amaral, pulled the McCanns in for questioning, and made them arguidos, that is, formal suspects - on suspicion of hiding Madeleine’s body. While Gerry McCann answered police questions, Kate refused to answer any, replying ‘no comment’. She had every legal right to do so, but it was strange behaviour for someone allegedly looking for her missing daughter.

"DCI Redwood. Are you sure you are in the right job?"

  • WHAT WOULD SHERLOCK HOLMES DO? (What really happened Part2)

Famous for ruling stuff out and what was left would be the truth let us apply his M O to this seemingly complex case but which probably isn't.
"She's been abducted" scream each McCann to each family member down the phone the night of May 3rd 2007.
They don't just tell one family member and request they spread the word.
No. They repeat the same mantra separately to each individual relative.
To bolster their story they also say "The shutters have been smashed", also repeatedly.

The first thing Holmes would do is check the veracity of their claim of the shutters being disturbed. He immediately sees they have NOT been and finds only one fingerprint. That of Kate's. Knowing that the parents in a missing child case are the first, and indeed most likely suspects of maldeeds, he already knows the McCanns are guilty (of something) given they have lied about the shutters. He knows he is looking at an attempt to stage an abduction, the word "ABDUCTION" the two have bellowed at their relatives, and somewhat surprisingly, the media and priests before even searching for their missing child, something "normal" parents would be doing.

Given that the McCanns spokesman, Mitchell, had to grudgingly concede that the shutters were NOT dislodged or tampered with TEAM McCANN subsequently change their story to leaving a door unlocked. We need go no further to know who is the guilty party here. The attempt to stage an abduction fails and has demonstrably failed.

The cadaver dog and blood dog identify blood on the wall and the scent of death in their apartment 5A, where no one had died before.
Consider then: 5A, no one died in there before, McCanns holiday in there and are one child down and blood and afterwards blood and death scent in there..

DCI Redwood. Are you sure you are in the right job?

Music To My Ears

" Portugal's top lawyer yesterday poured scorn on Scotland Yard’s investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

Attorney General Joana Marques Vidal said officers from London had no right to operate in Portugal and cannot question, interview or arrest anyone.
Her comments are in stark contrast to the Metropolitan Police’s upbeat announcement on Thursday of ‘genuinely new’ [NOTICE THE BRACKETS!] leads in the six-year-old case and that arrests could be made within weeks.
Detectives say they are preparing to swoop on 38 suspects – including 12 Britons – in Portugal and other parts of Europe.
Scotland Yard says it has asked the Crown Prosecution Service to submit an International Letter of Request to enable a team of officers to pursue inquiries in Portugal.
But Mrs Marques Vidal said she has received no British request for mutual legal assistance in an inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine – meaning the Met has no right to pursue inquiries.
Her spokesman said: ‘We have not received any request for mutual assistance with regard to the Madeleine McCann case.
He added that even if British police are allowed to travel to Portugal to ‘help the sovereign authorities’ carry out the ‘request for mutual assistance’, Met officers ‘cannot conduct any interviews or any other action in Portugal’.

Meanwhile Portugal’s detective unit, the Policia Judiciaria, said its officers would assist the British inquiry, but added they would effectively work to rule – only carrying out their duties to the letter of the law.
Pedro do Carmo, deputy national director of the unit, told the Daily Mail: ‘We are available to co-operate with the British authorities but only under terms of Portuguese law and within the time period allowed under Portuguese law.’

Portuguese detectives have condemned any deal between London and Lisbon as ‘political b*******’.
One said: ‘British police may be allowed to sit in on the interviews, with the prosecutor’s agreement, but they must not interfere or ask questions themselves. And if this deal does exist politics should not be allowed to interfere with justice. That is b*******.’
(is the b***... Bullshit? Bollocks? Bastardise? Take your pick - but a clue would have been "helpful" ;) - Well said anyway. They show that it's not just Kate "McCann" who is allowed to be RUDE at times.)

Three-year-old Madeleine vanished from an apartment in the resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007, while her parents, Kate and Gerry, were having dinner at a restaurant nearby with friends.
The shambolic inquiry into her whereabouts was shelved in 2008 and Portuguese authorities have refused to re-open the case, saying there is no new evidence.
Scotland Yard began their own Home Office-funded review in  2011, going over files compiled by the Portuguese authorities and private detectives hired by Mr and Mrs McCann.
Met Police teams have travelled to Portugal 16 times to share their findings with Portuguese detectives, and lawyers from the CPS visited Lisbon last month to discuss the case.

On the case: Scotland Yard has launched its own inquiry
On the case: Scotland Yard has launched its own inquiry (YES WE KNOW and this is OLD news!)

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, who is leading the inquiry, has said he believes there is a possibility that Madeleine is alive.
David Cameron yesterday welcomed the announcement that the Met had launched their own inquiry. He said: ‘It is welcome because they say that there is new evidence, new leads to follow, new things to be done.
‘It was a case that did shock and still shocks the nation and if an answer can be found we should try to find it.’ " (Well you'd have to try harder than this, I'm afraid, and start looking at the truth in the face! Why don't you ask the Portuguese Authorities for a Trial instead of wanting to poke your nose where it's not wanted and rule at the expense of the justice? This way you'd all get a lot closer to the truth! But as this Blog Post says (Cristobell), "There are still millions to be earned from the Madeleine McCann name. ")

This Case Needs A Trial : Petition

I've always been baffled, stunned and even horrified about the fact that the McCanns have never been tried despite the number of contradictions and flaws in their police statements and their friends'; the EARLY LIES about the "forced entry"; their abnormal attitude towards police and press - who would EVER call a police officer a "FUCKING TOSSER" during an interrogatory about the "disappearance" of their Child? Well, the mother DID.
Please search for yourselves by reading the official police files (PJ Files), visiting the sites which, for years, have collected facts and statements (you will find some of them on this blog side-links).
